Abstract Instructions
Please, indicate preference for poster or oral free communication. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to make the final choice. All the abstracts will be reviewed, and the corresponding author will be notified of acceptance.
Abstract should be written in English.
The abstract should be informative and contain concise information about objectives of the study, patients/material, methods, summary of results and conclusions. Figures, tables and references are not accepted.
Use single space between lines and capitalize all letters of the title.
Type the names of the authors with professional degrees immediately below the title followed by the name of the hospital, clinic, town, country and e-mail address. Do not list more than five (5) authors' names. The text must fit within the lines of proper box.
Please underline the presenting author.
Type the abstract text within the margins of the box (width 16,6 cm, height 18 cm) indicated on the abstract form. Use a letter-quality printer or typewriter, font: preferably Times New Roman, Regular, size 12 points.
Use full wording with the abbreviation in parentheses the first time the abbreviation appears in the text.
Proofread the typed abstract carefully, as no changes to this typescript will be made later.
Do not submit attachments, slides, or any reference materials with your abstract.
We encourage authors to send their completed abstract form preferably by e-mail t.stoel@wcna2010.info as an attachment in Word format (PC). Ready printable abstract forms are available on the home page of the Congress, www.wcna2010.com
Abstracts will be published for distribution in the congress abstract book and in part also on the home page of the congress and CD.

Oral Presentations
Each free paper speaker will be allowed 20 minutes for presentation including discussion, the presentation must be in the English language.
Interpretation/Translation
Sessions and free communications will be interpreted into German and French. In order to facilitate simultaneous translation speakers are asked to provide a copy of their presentation text at the same time they deliver their audiovisual material.
For oral presentations data projector one or two slide projectors will be available. Please inform the organisers of the needs of AV-equipment.
A Data projector and a PC will be available for PowerPoint presentations. All presentations will be loaded in advance on the hard disk from CD disk or 3,5" diskette. The use of presenters own PC will be allowed only in exceptional cases.
Slides
Single or double projection will be available for 35 mm slides in 5 x 5 cm mounts.
Only PowerPoint shows or slides are accepted.
Posters
The poster size should fit a poster board of 1 m wide by 2 m high. The poster should be easily readable from a distance of 1,5 meter. The layout of the poster should be preferably similar to that of the abstract. The poster should include title, authors name(s), affiliation, patients, methods, results and conclusions.
In order to make your own poster more attractive, we recommend the use of colour photographs and drawings. The chairpersons of the Poster sessions may select some posters for a moderated Poster Session including 2 minutes oral presentation and maximally 3 slides.
